Mrs. Herrell has lived in Southern New Mexico since 1948 with a love of books and history. She is well known for her works on the board of the Tularosa Basin Museum.  Roadrunner Emporium is proud to represent her children's book Timmy's Big Adventure and future efforts.

Native to the farmlands of Missouri having grown up on a 120 acre farm she has a passion for farming, gardening and pets. Her children's book Farmer Jon's Very Special Team draws on her family experience and is showcased at Roadrunner Emporium

Dennis Swift as a teenager and young adult set records in track and field for Alamogordo High, then went on to become an evangelist and a researcher. His research is explored in the book Secrets of the Ica Stones and Nazca Lines available at Roadrunner Emporium

 As a wildlife photographer, God  blessed the photographer in her own words, " greatly with photo opportunities right where I was at - and He still does it today.  For example: at the zoo sleeping animals woke up when I stopped by; a dove flew right into my sunset scenery; when taking a picture of a boat in the ocean, a dolphin sprang right into the picture; using the tele-lens as binoculars I had a couple of eagles fly right into the tree I was scouting, sunshine where it was supposed to rain; the most beautiful sunset creations and on and on and on. A member of the Alamogordo community since 1957 except for 4 years in pursuit of her masters degree in Kansas. Milk and Honey represents  creations that are designed for use in the kitchen where the milk and honey flow.  By repurposing the vintage beauty of hand embroidered items & combining them with the usefulness of a kitchen towel. Having opened her first art gallery at the age of 21 in Kansas City and never looking back, artist Lydia Aspen Renteria has taken the art world from the mid-west to the west coast by storm.
